So..... I grew up in the great city of Houston... It has some of the greatest freeways you have ever seen... and some of the WORST low rail interchangers known to man.... Two friends of mine were riding the city free ways and having the time of their life.... they were making composed passes of the city and enjoying the open road.. Well they came up to a interchanger that is a double apex meaning it goes from a slight left turn to a hard left turn very quickly.... The apex sitting almost 100 feet above ground... My boy Costas was in lead and cleared the 1/8th mile 25 foot - 100 foot - 25 foot turn with no problems..... My boy Chad was not in his rear view after the turn.... Come to find out there was a bed post in the road and either hit it or tried to swerve around it and hit the outer railing only 4 foot high thus shooting him over the railing 100 feet down.... He spent almost 2 weeks in the ICU for brain hemorages internal bleeding and other issues... For the first two weeks he was showing progress and everyone was showing hope.... But at the third week the doctors showed he was brain dead and there would be no saving him... His family had to make the call to take him off life support and submitted all his organs to doners... He was a fellow houstonian, a fellow modder, and a good friend... He will be missed....

This is the hardest journal I have ever had to write and I might be away for a short while to contemplate but I will return.
